permanent cosmetic Areolas for cosmetic or reconstructive surgery

Paramedical Procedures

Cosmetic permanent makeup can assist in bringing a natural look to areas of the body that are affected by disease and disease treatments.

Areola Repigmentation After Mastectomy

Repigmentation to the areola or areola portion of a breast can be performed with a cosmetic permanent make-up procedure. This service is often requested as part of breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. Areola colors are custom-blended and shadowing effects are used to create a natural look. This procedure is also requested by women who prefer larger areolas after breast augmentation.

Scar Camouflage

The scarring of skin can happen as a result of many things, (i.e. surgery, accidents, sun damage, etc.). Cosmetic tattooing or permanent make-up can be used to camouflage these scars. Both men and women can receive the benefits of this procedure where an even skin tone is created. This procedure is especially effective and common for hiding facelift scars.

Alopecia Areata

Alopecia areata is considered an autoimmune disease, in which the immune system, which is designed to protect the body from foreign invaders such as viruses and bacteria, mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, the tiny cup-shaped structures from which hairs grow. This can lead to hair loss on the scalp and elsewhere. A cosmetic permanent make-up procedure can add natural color to the skin to create an appearance of hair, where hair isn’t growing any longer.

Trichotillomania or Trichocryttomania

This is a compulsive habit of pulling eyelashes and eyebrow hair out, which results in permanent loss of hair. An eyeliner procedure brings natural color and dimension to the appearance of the eye and can include an "eyelash enhancement." Eyebrows are softly feathered with fine lines simulating a natural contour, while hair strokes mimic the appearance of hair in the brow line. A combination of custom-blended pigment shades gives it a dimensional look.

Hormonal and Thyroid conditions

Women and men of all ages can suffer hormone imbalances and/or thyroid conditions where hair loss is a side affect. A simple procedure can bring back the natural look of hair on many parts of the body.

Burn victims

Permanent make-up has provided great results for burn victims with damaged skin. Cosmetic tattooing can accent the natural color of skin and camouflage scarred skin, fill in missing or burnt lashes, re-create a missing lip and add facial definition.

Skin Cancer

When cancer-damaged skin is removed from one part of the body, camouflage skin grafts are taken from another area of body, usually behind the ear, and often times don’t match the surrounding new area of skin. Through blending natural colors, permanent make-up can give a natural look to the damaged, re-grafted areas.

Toenail removed

Permanent polished can be applied to create a natural look and the appearance of a toenail.

Sight-challenged and Motor Impaired people

As we age, our sight and motor skills can be impaired by the natural aging process and by disease. Permanent make-up can help with life’s everyday challenges of applying make-up. Imagine ending the daily frustration of attempting to draw on evenly shaped eyebrows, eyeliner and lipstick. And permanent eyebrows and eyeliner look more natural than penciled-on eyebrows and liner.

Cleft Lip

After cleft lip surgery, a patient is often left with scarring, uneven peaks and no defined vermilion. Permanent make-up can hide the scarring and recreate the appearance of a natural look around the nose and mouth.
